RInfra Mumbai Transmission
RInfra Mumbai Transmission(RInfra-T) is a Deemed Transmission Licensee in Maharashtra State as per various Orders issued by Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission under Electricity Act 2003.
Strengthening the Mumbai Transmission System
We are always in a peace of action to provide power to Mumbai. We believe we are the lifeline of Mumbai and have over the years established a strong foothold in the city through our constant endeavors, combined with the support and recognition we have received from our customers.
In order to serve our consumers with improved reliability and to match the load requirements, we have geared up to take our initiatives in Mumbai to the next level by commencing state-of-the-art technology projects with commissioning of 220kV GIS, 220kV cables, Tank mounted cooling fins types 220/33 kV Transformers.
Three new 220/33 kV Transformers at 220kV Aarey, Versova and Ghodbunder EHV station along with 220 kV GIS, 220 kV cables and 33 kV GIS boards have been commissioned recently costing Rs. 110.56 Cr.
Ongoing Schemes for Strengthening of Mumbai Transmission System.
There are 11 ongoing schemes for strengthening of Mumbai transmission system with approved cost of Rs. 1818.07 Cr. Technical clearances from State Transmission Unit (STU) and Regulatory clearances from MERC have already been received for these projects across Mumbai Suburbs.
The execution of the below said projects have been initiated and works are being carried out in full swing:
