Reliance Energy Transmission Limited is an associate company of Reliance Energy Limited. The registered office of the Company is situated at Reliance Energy Center, Santa Cruz (East), Mumbai 400 055. It has been incorporated with effect from July 17, 2003. The objective of the newly incorporated company is to focus in the transmission business. The company will not only establish the requisite transmission links for the capacity addition program of Reliance Energy Ltd., but also contribute towards the huge network expansion program envisaged in the National Plan. With a view to generating greater efficiency in the power sector for transmission business, Reliance Energy Transmission Ltd. aims to pursue opportunities arising through the opening up of this sector to minimize transmission congestion and optimize cost of delivered power thus creating enhanced value for customers.
